Gorilla Trekking is one of Africa's greatest wildlife encounters and Uganda offers the most affordable option available in the region, with the last opportunity for low-season permits at US$450 each in November 2017. From December permits will increase to US$600 each.
Revenue from the sale of permits contributes vital funds towards preserving Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and 20% of the park revenue is ploughed back into the infrastructure for local communities surrounding the parks.
